Rytis Lauris, the Co-Founder and CEO of Omnisend, shares how each month, they have to raise funds again and prove their value to tens of thousands of merchants. He mentioned that's the biggest pro of bootstrapping – you have to put all of your customers, their needs, and their value at the core of everything.

When they first started, no one wanted to invest in their business and they weren’t able to raise money. But Rytis is happy that it happened. Now, he calls the business “customer-funded.” And being customer-funded means finding the most creative ways to grow.

His advice? Find a monetizable customer pain. If you start solving this problem for your customers, they will be willing to pay you when you help them earn or save.
